With our L.A.M.P.^™  (Low Altitude Mapping Photogrammetry) helicopter technology, we'll capture all the intricate 3-D detail of your project area in just minutes with each snap of the aerial camera's shutter... and move the data gathering process from the dangers of the site to the safety of the photogrammetric office. And without any traffic control at all!

The Accuracy? Between 0.01 and 0.03 foot in X-Y-Z!

This photo was captured using a 9" x 9" format, WILD RC-8 certified mapping camera (Note that this photo has been scaled down 50%). The Richard B. Davis Co. developed the vibration free camera mount for our Robinson R-22 survey helicopter, and holds the F.A.A. Standard Type Certificate for the modifications that were made to the aircraft.

At an altitude of 300 feet A.G.L., vertical measurements accurate to approximately ±0.03 feet can be made (1/10,000 of the flying height), comparable to results obtained by conventional ground survey methods. L.A.M.P.^™ has been used by Portland International Airport as part of their runway rehabilitation efforts, by the Rhode Island Department of Transportation for the mapping of 3 1/2 miles of Interstate 95 through downtown Providence, by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for high accuracy breakwater studies throughout the U.S. and abroad, and many others.

Our L.A.M.P.^™  technology has provided safe, accurate, and economical DTM's, 1/10th foot contours, cross sections and digital orthophotos from Alaska to the South Pacific, from California to the East coast! And our FAA approved portable helicopter camera mount can be shipped worldwide, along with our forward image compensated aerial mapping camera, for mounting on a local helicopter.
