Surveys have been a significant portion of Richard B. Davis Co., Inc.'s growth over the past 34 years, and have ranged from small individual boundary issues to complex investigation, retracement and re-subdivision of entire "Benson Syndicate" fraudulently surveyed Townships.

Our GPS team has established high-accuracy control densification surveys for Cities and Counties, and provided control for a USGS quadrangle mapping project. We have developed unique methods for utilizing GPS from a helicopter to complete large scale control surveys in a fraction of the time that a normal ground survey would require.

We have performed construction surveying as well as construction inspection surveying on projects ranging up to $200 million in construction costs.

Richard Davis has personally filed in excess of 1,000 Record of Survey plats defining boundary issues. He has appeared in State and Federal Courts as an Expert Witness in boundary and photogrammetric matters.

Our Hydrographic Survey personnel have completed ocean, river and lake hydrographic projects, utilizing our Odom Mk 3200 hydrographic receiver that is interfaced with our GPS and hydro software. Recent hydro projects have included the underwater mapping of portions of Pearl Harbor and a 60-mile stretch of the Pend Orielle River in Idaho and Washington.
